14 players across 2 groups of 7.
Round robin on 3rd & 9th May.
6-game match format.
Top 2 from each group to semi-finals.
🏅 Men's Doubles
11 pairs across 2 groups.
Round robin on 16th & 17th May.
8-game match format.
Top 2 pairs from each group to semi-finals.
🏅 Mixed Doubles
4 pairs entered.
Round robin on 30th May.
Courts 1 & 4 · 1:00pm
6-game match format.
Top 2 pairs to final.
📝 Tournament Notes
The preliminary round robin draws have been set by tournament conveners Warren Hall & Ajith Fernando.
Round Robin stage matches have been fixed & scheduled. Dates cannot be changed to maintain fairness to all participants.
Match formats:
- Men's Singles & Mixed Doubles — 6-game match format
- Men's Doubles — 8-game match format
📋 Tournament Rules
Format: Round Robin groups followed by Semi-Finals and Final.
Scoring: Each match is a single set of 6 games. All 6 games are played regardless of score.
Semi-Finals: Winner of Group 1 vs Runner-up of Group 2. Winner of Group 2 vs Runner-up of Group 1.
Hit-up: Only a 5-minute hit-up is allowed for each player's first set of the day.
How the results of the round robin will be decided:
- Number of matches won
- If equal — number of games won
- If still equal — the result of the contest between the two tied players
- If that result is also a draw — a playoff match of 8 games will be played
